Gerald was born in Owosso, Michigan on January 13, 1945, the son of Warren D. and Mary J. (Kayanek) Melrose. Gerald was a Lift Truck Operator. He resided most of his life in Perry.
He is survived by his son Jerry Melrose of Laingsburg, MI, daughter Cynthia and Fred Rich of Lansing, MI, son Tim Melrose of S. Daytona, FL, and daughter Wendy Bergey of S. Daytona, FL.
