Gerald Rhynard

Gerald E. Rhynard was born, July 6, 1919 in Bannister, the son of Ezra and May (Davis) Rhynard. He retired from Federal Mogul in August of 1981 and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Gerald married Mary Louise Martin on June 8, 1944 and she survives him.

Also surviving are son, Dale Rhynard, brothers, Baisel Rhynard, Floyd Rhynard of Lansing, and sister, Lillian Strahle and many nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Gertrude Greenacre, and June Maxwell, and brothers, Dean and Virgil Rhynard.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. Monday, October 19, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Johns with burial following at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Westphalia, with the Rev. Fr. Eoin Murphy officiating. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Sunday at the Osgood Funeral Home in St. Johns with a rosary being prayed at 3 P.M. and a vigil service at 7 P.M. on Sunday.
