Geraldine Huntoon

Geraldine Mae Huntoon, age 90, of St. Louis, MI passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, May 2, 2011 at Gratiot Medical Center, Alma, MI.

Funeral services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Carl Cecil will officiate. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis, MI. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. at Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Geraldine was born in Jasper Township, Midland County, Michigan on June 19, 1920, the daughter of John Harrison and Mary Blanche (Blymyer) Salsbury. She married Henry Huntoon on December 3, 1938 in Porter Township, MI. He passed away February 15, 1978. Geraldine was a homemaker. She enjoyed dancing and playing bingo and cards.

She is survived by her son Charlie and Em Huntoon of St. Louis, MI, daughter Kathy and George Bromm of Coleman, MI, daughter Mary and Bob Seeley of St. Louis, MI, daughter in law Pam (Huntoon) Wagner of Cedarville, MI, 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, sister Macy Leonard of St. Louis, MI, and brother Mazel Salsbury of Middleton, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons; Robert and Larry Huntoon, a grandchild, two brothers, and two sisters.
