Gertrude L. Hall age 77 of Owosso, Michigan died Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at Memorial Healthcare Center, Owosso, MI.
Memorial Services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church Owosso, MI on Friday, February 22, 2008 at 11:30 AM. Rev. Randy Terrill will officiate
Gertrude was born in Owosso, Michigan on September 29, 1930 the daughter of Walter and Gertrude Lee ( VanTiflin ) Weir. She resided most of her life in Owosso and attended Owosso Schools. Gertrude married Bruce Hall Sr. on May 8, 1950 in Owosso. Gertrude was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her grandchildren. Children were an important part of her life. Gertrude was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she also taught Sunday School. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary Owosso Post #9455 and served on the Zoning Board for Owosso Charter Township.
She is survived by her husband Bruce Hall, Sr. of Owosso, MI, 7 children; Bruce & Cathy Hall Jr. of Owosso, MI, Phil & Patricia Hall of Owosso, MI, Stephanie Hall & Troy Vandergriff of Owosso, MI, Timothy & Charlene Hall of Owosso, MI, Bethany & Jim Moreno of Oklahoma, Jim & Priscilla Hall of Owosso, MI, Jason & Stacy Hall of Chesaning, MI, grandchildren; Amy Hall, Patrick & Linda Hall, Rachel & Scott Fishback, April & Gary Woodruff, Jenny Hall & Willis Seman, Josh & Genia Hall, Jon Hall & Bailey Jenkinson, Joe Hall, Amanda Holzhausen & Rick Servantez, Tiffany Hall, Timothy Hall Jr., Jamie Hall & Steve Shannon, Donald Weekley, Margaret Eaton, Clayton & Angela, Moreno, Samantha Moreno, Heather Moreno, Corey Hall & Sasha Castle, Eric & Kristi Hall, Tara & Justin Davis, Wyatt Hall, Kadin Hall, Vidalia Hall, Keely Hall, Brody Hall, Koby Hall, & Hunter Hall, 22 great grandchildren, 2 sisters; Eleanor Hall of Petoskey, Myrtie & Chuck Holland of Corunna, MI, 1 brother Edward & Ruth Weir of Texas and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, three brothers; Bill Weir, Phillip Weir and Robert Weir, and brother-in-law Marvin Hall.
