Glen Quentin Reist

       Glen Quentin Reist, age 54, of Ashley, MI, passed away Friday, May 10, 2024, at his home. 

       Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI, at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 16, 2024, with Pastor Rex Albring officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. 

      Glen was born in Carson City, Michigan on December 19, 1969, the son Robert Jeffrey and Linda Faye (Felton) Reist.

        Glen graduated from Merrill High School. He enjoyed going to mud boggs, mushroom hunting and listening to country music. He was always busy around home cutting wood and mowing his lawn. Glen loved spending time with his family and his dog Nova. 

     He is survived by his son Alex and LaTonya Reist of Ashley, MI; daughter Nevaeh Reist of Owosso, MI; father Jeff Reist of Merrill, MI; siblings: Debbie and Gary Schestag of Ashley, MI; Jeffrey and LeAnne Reist of Ashley, MI; Rodney Reist of Ashley, MI; Joyce Reist of Chesaning, MI; Courtney and Scott Beagle of Sumner, MI; step father George Skorna of St. Johns, MI; and nephew Ryan (Cinnamon) Reist. He is also survived by many other nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother Linda Skorna, step-mother Barb Reist, and niece Megan Reist.
