Gloria Kostuk

Gloria Jean Kostuk, age 66, of Ashley, Michigan passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Ashley Care Center.

A Memorial Service will be held at Bannister United Methodist Church   Bannister, MI on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Mona Dye officiating.

Gloria was born in St. Johns, Michigan on November 16, 1949, the daughter of Manuel and Margarette M. (Lover) Rodriguez.  She graduated from Ovid Elsie High School with the class of 1967, and had resided most of her life in the Elsie and Ashley areas.  On July 10, 1971 she married Buddy F. Kostuk in Bannister, Michigan.  Buddy died on June 9, 2015.  Gloria was a homemaker and had worked as a CNA at Ashley Care Center and in home health care business. She also cleaned houses.

She is survived by her daughter Dena and Randy Harris of Ashley, MI, 2 grandsons; Dustin Harris and Kamren Harris, 2 sisters; Lucy and Chuck Hazard, and Rachel Harrelson, and several nieces & nephew.  She is also survived by special friend and card playing buddy, Carrie Lamey.  She was predeceased by her parents, husband, sister and brother in law Linda and Gary Holmes, and brother in law Fred Harrelson.
