Grace Lucille Harden age 81, of Midland, MI, passed away at her home Wednesday, September 26, 2018.
A Memorial Service will be held at Nease Memorial Church of the Nazarene, 5315 Isabella St., Midland, MI, on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 2:00 P.M., with Pastor Beth Hansen officiating. Visitation will be held at 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
Grace was born in Pontiac, MI on September 19, 1937, the daughter of Adam and Hattie (Townsend) Goodwin. On September 5, 1958, Grace married Roscoe Wayne Harden Sr. Roscoe preceded her in death on February 27, 2008 after 49 years of marriage.
Grace was a homemaker and loved her family dearly. The highlights of her life were time spent with her sisters and her entire family. Grace was passionate about playing BINGO and a good joke! She resided most of her life in the St. Louis area.
Grace is survived by her children: Roscoe (Carol) Harden Jr. of Ortonville, Raymond (Tina) Harden of St. Louis, Tina (Carl) Toner of St. Louis, Trudy Kappler of Midland, and Michael (Sam) Harden of Lake Orion; foster daughter Rhonda Denny of Waterford, grandchildren: Heather (Tony) Green, Eddie (Thaery) Hazle, Roscoe Harden III, Thomas Harden, Henry Harden, Jamie (Douglas) Hopkins, Destinee (Nick) Marsh, Amy Harden, Kristi (Josh) Lewis, Carl (April) Toner, Terra Toner, Brian Norris, Trudy (Neal Raymond) Billings, Gregory (Kelli) Billings, Donald (Erica) Powers, Renee (Duane) Dunnagan, Joseph Harden, and Amber (John) Wilder; 48 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by brother John Goodwin, sister Margaret Horn, brother-in-law Bill South, and many nieces and nephews. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roscoe, son Edwin Hazle, foster son Daniel Denny, sisters: Anna South and Judy Sargent; and brother-in-law Bill Horn.
