Gregory Lee Bott

      Gregory Lee Bott, age 54, of St. Louis, Michigan, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025.
      A Graveside Service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis, Michigan, at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, January 31, 2025, with Pastor Jerry Pierce officiating. Visitation will be held 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, Michigan.
      Greg was born in Alma, Michigan on November 19, 1970, the son of Leslie Herbert and Sharon Sue (McIntosh) Bott. He graduated from St. Louis High School with the class of 1989. Greg was a steering systems designer at Nexteer for over 20 years.
       Greg was an avid woodworker and a devoted Detroit Lions Fan. He enjoyed going to the sand dunes, traveling, and spending time with his family and his cat, June. Most of all, Greg loved being a dad and adored his children.
        Greg is survived by his mother Sharon Sumner, two daughters: Lara Bott, and Kendal Bott; girlfriend Kerrie Strope, brother Brent (Pamela) Bott, sister Shelley (Rob) Hughston, and many nieces and nephews (he was affectionately known as "Uncle Buddy"). He was preceded in death by his father Les Bott, and son Jarred Gregory Bott.
