Harold Adams

Harold Arthur Adams, age 70, of Owosso, MI passed away Thursday, March 12, 2009 at his home with his family by his side.

Funeral Services will be held at Northgate Wesleyan Church, in Owosso, MI on Monday, March 16, 2009 at 1:00 P.M., Pastor Cal Emerson will officiate. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2009 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.

Harold was born in Owosso, Michigan on May 2, 1938, the son of Wallace Adams and Wanetta (Draper) Adams. Harold married Darla Collings on December 29, 1990 at Northgate Wesleyan Church in Owosso. Harold served his country in the U.S. Navy. He owned and operated Adams Bump and Paint in Corunna until his retirement in 2007. He loved to go fishing, hunting, motorcycling, snowmobiling, camping, and also enjoyed picking on people. He was an avid collector of miniature model cars and gas pumps. Harold resided all of his life in the Owosso and Corunna area. He was a charter member of the Gold Wing Riders Association in Shiawassee County and he attended Northgate Wesleyan Church in Owosso, MI.

He is survived by his wife Darla Adams of Owosso, 1 daughter Brenda Adams of Mt. Pleasant, 2 sons; Dane and Emily Songer of Durand and Jonathan Songer of Owosso; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, step mother Pearl Huffman, 2 brothers, 5 sisters and several nieces and nephews. Harold was predeceased by his parents, 1 daughter Julie McCarrick, 3 brothers; Richard, LeRoy, Mike, 1 sister Albra Humble and 1 nephew Little Richie Adams.
