Harold Jones

Harold F. "Bud" Jones, age 88, of Alma, MI passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at his home.

A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis, MI on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 1:00 P.M.  Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis, MI with Military Honors.

Harold was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on October 15, 1927, the son of Meda Byers.  Bud resided most of his life in Markelville, Indiana. Bud and Phyllis were married on July 3, 2005.  Bud retired from the U.S. Navy after 30 years of service to his country.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Jones of Alma, MI, son Jim Jones of Dayton, FL, daughter Billie and Pete Box of Markelville, IN, son Jon and Nelda Jones of Pendleton, IN, step daughter Edith and Steve Branom of Aurora, IL, step daughter Debbie and Geoffrey Donaldson of Woodstock, IL, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.  Bud was preceded in death by his mother and his son Buddy Jones.
