Harry James "Jim" Gall

    Harry James "Jim" Gall, age 72, of Alma, MI, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at his home.

     A cremation has taken place and a celebration of life jamboree will be held at a later date.

     Jim was born in Alma, Michigan on June 8, 1950, the son of Francis John and Helen Margaret (Fabiano) Gall.  He graduated from St. Louis High School with the class of 1968.  Jim was a lifelong local musician. He was an outstanding guitarist and was even known to his grandchildren as "Grandpa Guitar".  He played in many local bands, including: Cyneman Vyne, Synapse, The Lost Generation, Special Delivery, and Curbside Cadillacs.  He was always ready to jam with family and friends.  Jim had a great sense of humor and was loved by many.

     He is survived by two children: Nakkim Gall of Mt. Pleasant, MI; Melody (Jordan) Gall of Lansing, MI; three grandchildren: Tevin Miles, Melody Marie Gall, and Case Mroczek; and one great-grandson Ron Paul, Jr.  He is also survived by four siblings: Kathy (Randy) Horn, Lala (Bob) Threloff, John (Terry) Gall, and George Gall; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents John and Helen Gall, three siblings: Mary Manning, Virginia Reeder, and William Gall; nephew Michael Gall and niece Christine Satkowiak.
