      Havannah Lorraine "Banana" Leslie, age 16, of Alma, MI, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 4, 2024, at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, Grand Rapids, MI.
      Funeral Services will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Ithaca, MI, at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. Burial will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Emerson Township, MI.
     Visitation will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024, and on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 2-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca, MI. Those attending the services are encouraged to wear aqua, Havannah's favorite color.
      Havannah was born in Alma, Michigan on February 19, 2008, the daughter of Jeremy and Kristina (Robinson) Leslie. Havannah enjoyed playing softball for Maple Rapids. She was passionate about longboarding, snowboarding, knee boarding and tubing. She was very athletic, adventurous and always ready to try new things. Havannah loved her time in Georgia, looked forward to family vacations and spending time on the beach in the sun. Havannah had aspirations to be a traveling nurse so could see more of the world.
       Her time with family and friends was cherished but above all, the time with her siblings was far more treasured. Havannah would go to the ends of the earth for her siblings and they looked up to her so much. She had a wonderful sense of humor and liked making others laugh. She will be remembered for her outgoing, loving and fun personality. Havannah touched all who knew her and lived her life to the fullest. She was strong in her beliefs and faith and was a lifetime member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Ithaca.
       She is survived by her parents Jeremy and Kristina Leslie of Alma, MI, younger siblings: Laven, Alivina and Astara Leslie, grandparents: Todd Leslie of North Carolina, Clarissa Leslie of Ithaca, MI, Arthur Robinson of South Carolina, Ranee Cramer of Arizona, and great grandparents Rich and Laura Mitchell of Ithaca, MI. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her great grandparents Alvin and Donna Hipolite and great-great grandma Evelyn Stead.
