Hazel Marietta Larsen, age 88, of Elsie, MI died Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Ashley Care Center Ashley, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Mona Kindel officiating. Burial will take place at Eureka Cemetery Eureka, MI. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Marietta was born in Clinton County, Michigan on October 12, 1924, the daughter of Elzy E. and Gladys May (Sevy) Dush. She graduated from Maple Rapids High School. Marietta resided most of her life in Eureka and St. Johns. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, playing cards, and playing organ, piano, and accordian. She retired from Sealed Power in 1987, and had also worked for Hicks Store, and Rivards Nursing Home.

She is survived by son Jim and Kathleen Larsen of St. Johns, MI, daughter Judy and Robert Moon of Ithaca, MI, daughter Janet Dershem of Ithaca, MI, son Jack and Janine Larsen of St. Johns, MI, daughter Joy and Rodger Kelley of Elsie, MI, 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and brother William Dush of Elsie, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Kenny Larsen, and brother Wayne Dush.
