Helen L. Adams, age 87, of Roscommon, Michigan died Monday, July 5, 2010 at Mercy Hospital, Grayling, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie Chapel Elsie, MI on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 2:00 P.M., Pastor Edwin Snook will officiate. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery Elsie, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:30 P.M. till time of service at the funeral home.

Helen was born in Elsie, Michigan on August 11, 1922, the daughter of Floyd and Laura (Peck) Bouck. She graduated from Elsie High School with the class of 1940. She then went through nurses training at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, becoming a registered nurse. Following her graduation Helen joined the US Army nurse corp. during W.W.II. After the war, she come back to Lansing and was a registered nurse for a number of doctors. On April 17, 1954 she married Donald Adams in Elsie, Michigan. Donald died April 10, 2000. Helen moved to Roscommon 6 years ago. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her brother Jack and Joanne Bouck of Roscommon, Michigan and many nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, 1 sister Marium Foster, and 1 brother Russell Bouck.
