Helen Fett

Helen LaVerna Fett, age 99, of Spring Lake, formerly of Elsie died Thursday, January 29, 2015 in Spring Lake, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. with Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery Elsie, Michigan. Visitation will be Tuesday prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.

Helen was born in Bannister, Michigan on December 16, 1915, the daughter of Vern and Grace (Yarnell) Slusser. On November 8, 1932 she married Darwin Fett; Darwin predeceased her on December 20, 2005. She had worked for and retired from Universal Electric and Redmond's in Owosso. Helen had resided most of her life in Mid-Michigan area.

She is survived by 2 sons; Robert and Carol Fett of Palm Bay, Florida, Donald and Mary Fett of Spring Lake, MI, 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and daughter in law Lorraine Fett of Elsie, MI. She was predeceased by her parents, 2 sons; Gilbert and Richard, 1 grandson Gary, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
