Helen Marie Moore, age 85, of Ann Arbor, MI died Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso, Michigan on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 12 noon.
Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery Owosso, MI. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2008 from 10 am until time of service at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel.

Helen was born in Kankakee, Illinois on July 6, 1923, the daughter Allen and Tekla (Wrobleski) Montgomery. She graduated from Owosso High School and attended 2 years at Hanover College and graduated from University of Michigan with a teaching degree. She lived in Owosso until 1992 when she moved to the Ann Arbor community. Helen worked as a teacher at Lake Fenton Schools for 14 years retiring in 1984. She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, and of the First Congregational Church, Owosso, MI. Helen's friends and extended family would like to thank Arbor Hospice and Glacier Hill Retirement Community for the wonderful care she had received. She is survived by cousins and a host of friends.
