Helen Moore age 97 of St. Louis, Michigan died Friday, April 13, 2007 at Pine River Healthcare Center, St. Louis, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Faith United Methodist Church, Edmore, MI on Monday, April 16, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Joe Greybill and Pastor Esther Barton will officiate with burial at Vinewood Cemetery Edmore, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2007 from 2-5 P.M. at Faith United Methodist Church, Edmore, MI.

Helen was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 2, 1909 the daughter of Joseph and Catherine ( Vilinger ) Madar. She lived in Alma until 1969, then she moved to Edmore. Helen married Wayne Moore in Shepherd, MI on August 25, 1934. He died in March of 1990. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, flower gardening, and spending her winters with Wayne in Florida. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren. Helen was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Edmore, MI.

She is survived by her 5 children; Wayne "Fred" & Nancy Moore of Grayling, MI, JoAnn & Tony Smolka of Ithaca, MI, Jim & Carol Moore of Lakeview, MI, John & Ruth Moore of Edmore, MI, Elaine & Dan Abbott of Edmore, MI, 17 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, 2 brothers, 5 sisters, 2 granddaughters Susan Moore, & Mary Ann Hawkes, and great granddaughter Ella Marie Moore.

Memorials may be made to Faith United Methodist Church, Edmore, MI. or Heartland Hospice of Bay City. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
