Howard Hoover

Howard C. Hoover age 94 of DeWitt, Michigan died Saturday, April 24, 2004 at Ovid Healthcare Center in Ovid, Michigan.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 26, 2004 at 3:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns Chapel. Pastor Thomas Wilson will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.
Howard was born in Canada on July 29, 1909 the son of Ralph & Catherine ( Whitmore ) Hoover. He resided most of his life in the DeWitt area. On December 19, 1929 he married Edna Bernice Ketrow in Indianapolis Indiana, Edna died March 21, 2002.
Howard was a farmer and he was the Dog Warden for Clinton County until his retirement. Survivors include his daughter, Norma Lynn & J. Lawrence Andrews of St. Johns, Michigan, 1 son Tom & Carolyn Hoover of St. Johns, Michigan, daughter in law, Sharon Hoover of DeWitt, Michigan, 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren & 6 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, son Charles Hoover, and brother Clark Hoover.
Memorials can be made to Ovid Healthcare Activities Department. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns Chapel.
