Iladene Egbert

Iladene Egbert age 87, of Manistee, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Schnepp Health Care Center, St. Louis, Michigan.

A Graveside Services will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis, Michigan on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. for Gary and Iladene.

Iladene was born in St. Louis, Michigan on November 20, 1928, the daughter of Charles William and Mille Mertilla (Dershem) Lettick.  She was a graduate of St. Louis High School and resided most of her life in Alma and Manistee, Michigan.  Iladene married Gary Egbert on August 19, 1950 in St. Louis, Michigan.

Iladene will be remembered for her kind and loving nature.  She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much.  She loved to golf and even accomplished a hole in one.  Iladene enjoyed doing ceramics and was an avid reader.  Going for walks was one of her favorite pastimes.  Iladene and her husband were members of the Manistee Elks Lodge. She worked at the Highlander Shop in Alma.

She is survived by her husband Gary Egbert of Manistee, MI, 2 daughters; Judy and John Martinez of Golden, CO, Brenda Onstott of Ashley, MI, 4 grandchildren; Jessica and Steven Carey, Eric and Krissy Onstott, Nick and Nadine Martinez, Chad and Deidre Martinez, 10 great grandchildren; Makayla, Megan, Trevor, Eva, Ben, Brayden, Jozef, Payge, Harlie and Emma, and sister Velma Spicer of St. Louis, MI.  Iladene was preceded in death by her parents, her granddaughter Angela Onstott and her siblings Bob, Lucille, Cliff and Arlene.
