Ilah "Jackie" Richardson, age 86, of Elwell, MI died Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Schnepp Health Care Center in St. Louis, MI.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will take place at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Breckenridge, MI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. at Smith Family Funeral Homes.
Jackie was born in Wheeler Township, Michigan on July 16, 1924, the daughter of Bud Orlando and Pearl (McClintic) Wright. She married Franklin Richardson on December 11, 1950 in Angola, IN. Jackie retired from Royal Globe Insurance Co. in 1989, as an insurance underwriter. She enjoyed reading, crossword & sudoku puzzles, collecting owls, and liked to visit their vacation property.
She is survived by her husband Franklin Richardson of Elwell, MI, 2 sons; Kenneth Nestle of Bolingbrook, IL, Michael and Marinell Riggs of Olive Branch, MS, 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, 2 sisters; Bertha Stowits of Ohio, Shirley and Nacho DeLeone of Arizona, 2 brothers; Russell and Charlene Wright of Breckenridge, MI, and Richard Wright of Alma, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 9 brothers & sisters.
