Ilene Kostoff

Ilene Marie Kostoff, age 79, of Corunna, MI passed away Sunday, March 7th, 2010 at Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, Lansing, MI.

A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel, Corunna, MI on Thursday, March 18th at 2:00 P.M. , Pastor John Walworth will officiate. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 18, from 1:00 until time of service at Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Ilene was born in Durand, Michigan on August 15, 1930, the daughter of Alphias B. and Gladys (Wilson) Conrad. She attended Durand Schools. Ilene married Russell Kostoff in Pontiac, Michigan on October 8, 1965. Ilene was a seamstress at C.H.W. in Owosso for several years. She enjoyed going for walks, fishing and playing bingo. Ilene resided most of her life in the Corunna area. She attended Holy Family Catholic Church in Ovid.

She is survived by her children; Jack VanWagoner; Rebecca and Mike Lee; Robert and Roxanne LePard; Donald LePard; Debra Russell; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters Barbara and Red Grinage; Shirley and Russell McGregor; Phyllis and Willis West; two brothers Lawrence and Judy Conrad and Robert Conrad

Ilene was predeceased by her parents, her husband Russell in 2004 and her daughter-in-law Madonna LePard; two brothers Duane Conrad and Alfred Conrad, and one sister Doris Merraquinn.

Memorials may be made to Mid Michigan Hospice in Lansing, Michigan.
