Irene Langham

Irene V. Langham age 88, of St. Johns, MI, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018, at Hazel I. Findlay Country Manor, St. Johns, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Osgood Chapel, St. Johns, MI, on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Mona Kindel officiating.  Burial will take place at Lowe Cemetery, St. Johns, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 6-8 P.M., and on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Irene was born in Sanborn, PA on September 10, 1929, the daughter of Raymond Goss and Clara Ethel (Kline) Goss-Read.  Irene married Charles R. Langham on December 15, 1946 in Clearfield, PA; Charles passed away on January 16, 2010. Irene enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, playing bingo and doing word search. Irene was always volunteering for her community.

She is survived by 3 daughters: Becky and Ernest Aughenbaugh of St. Johns, MI; Bonnie and Rodney Hale of St. Johns, MI; Beverly and David Masarik of St. Johns, MI; 1 son Richard Dail Langham Sr. of Elsie, MI; sister Emily Williams, and brother Warren “Rusty” Read. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her parents, husband, son Charles William Langham, 2 grandsons: Christopher Kingman, and Joey Kingman, and one great granddaughter Laurah Kingman.
