Isabelle Wright

Isabelle Elizabeth (Scott) Wright, age 86, of Corunna, MI passed away Monday, January 17, 2011 at Shiawassee County Medical Care Facility, Corunna.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. Isabelle's nephew Rev. Stephen Scott will officiate. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Owosso. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Thursday from 11:00-1:00 PM.

Isabelle was born in Boyne City, Michigan on November 15, 1924, the daughter of Asa and Anna (Dodd) Scott. Isabelle resided most of her life in Owosso.

Isabelle married Eldon Wright on July 21, 1962 in Owosso. Eldon passed away on June 5, 1998.

Isabelle enjoyed the activities of making crafts and painting while at Pleasant View. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and aides at Pleasant View for their care.

She is survived by her sister Dorothy and Clifford Hazel, brothers; Raymond Scott, Richard and Cathy Scott, sisters-in-law; Millie Scott, Jeanette Loynes, Lila Wright, and Nora Wright. Isabelle is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Isabelle was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Naomi Scott and brothers Wesley, Elwood, Norman, Virgil and Robert Scott.
