Iva Lounsberry

Iva Mae Lounsberry, age 92, of Laingsburg, Michigan died Friday, June 12th, 2015 at Family Affair Adult Foster Care, Haslett, Michigan.

A Graveside Service will be held at Hillside Cemetery, Delta Mills in Delta Township Michigan on Monday, June 15th at 2:00 P.M. Pastor Gary Hawes will officiate.

Iva was born in Howell, Michigan on April 12, 1923, the daughter of Ernest F. and Harriett Ruth (Lowe) Lounsberry. She was a homemaker and enjoyed showing horses and was a horse breeder. Iva also enjoyed sewing and collecting dishes and trinkets. She resided in California, Idaho and moved to Laingsburg in 1987.

She is survived by 3 sisters, Verna Silky, Betty Lake, Della Meister, many nieces and nephews also survive her. Iva is also survived by her companions children, Janice, Bill, Kenneth.

She was predeceased by her parents, her long time companion, Harold "Pat" Ward, 1 sister, Bessie, 4 brothers, Lloyd, Clare, Wilbur and Harry. Her companions son, Jim.
