Jack Harry Myers

      Jack  Harry Myers, age 89, of Fowler, MI, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at Hospice House of Shiawassee County, Owosso, Michigan 
      Burial will take place in the spring at Mt. Rest Cemetery, St. Johns
      Jack  was born in Bengal Township, Michigan on September 13, 1934, the son of Herman and Mira (Sims)  Myers. He was the 3rd child of 13 children born into his family. He attended school in Fowler. On May 15, 1954, he married Maxine Lee Chant in St. Johns, Michigan. He worked at Oldsmobile as a millwright, retiring in 1991, after 38 1/2 years. Jack enjoyed fishing, woodworking and he enjoyed going to Florida in the winter.  
     He is survived by his wife, Maxine Myers; 3 children: Monica (Terry) Malley, Steve (Linda) Myers, and Pam Myers; 3 grandsons: Mike and Kate Cogswell, Craig Cogswell and Jack Myers. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren, 
2 sisters, Fay Schmitz, Susan  (Tom) Goerge, 3 brothers, Mark Myers, Alvin Myers, Ernie  (Rosemary) Myers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, 4 sisters: Norma Claeys, Eloise Brown, Karen Myers, Grace Thelen, 3 brothers:Richard Myers, Gerald Myers, Charles Ray Myers.
