Jack Ross

Jack Lee Ross, age 66, of St. Louis, MI passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at University Hospitals, Ann Arbor, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis Chapel St. Louis, MI on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. with Mr. Keith Wise officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday November 5, 2011 from 2-8 PM with family present 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home.

Jack was born in Alma, Michigan on October 19, 1945, the son of Carl H. and Virginia Ann (Ward) Ross. Jack resided most of his life in Shepherd and St. Louis, MI and was a graduate of Shepherd High School, class of 1965. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Jack married Beverly Spangler on May 12, 2001 in Sherwood, OH.

Jack retired from General Motors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Jack loved to go camping with family and friends. He was known to be a family man, always surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Jack will be remembered as a giving and loving man to all that knew him.

He is survived by his wife Beverly Ross of St. Louis, MI, son Kevin Ross of Defiance, OH, daughter Anne and Scott Flores of Chillicothe, OH, step daughter Erin Rose of Bryan, OH, son Steven Tubbs, grandchildren; Gabriel, Olivia, Kynlee, Jack, Harry, Haley, Sierra, Emily and Cheyenne, sister Sharon and Michael McGee of New Port Richey, FL, and 2 sisters-in-law; Helen Ross of Fort Wayne, IN, and Sharon Ross of Flint, MI. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers; James Ross Sr. and William Ross.
