Jack Harlan Smalldon

    Jack Harlan Smalldon, age 86, of St. Johns, MI passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023 in Florida, with his family surrounding him.

     A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Osgood Chapel, St. Johns, MI, at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 10, 2023.

     Jack was born in Ovid, MI on December 3, 1936 the son of John and Ruth (Smith) Smalldon.  He married Joan Ann Ebidon on April 22, 1962, in St. Johns, Michigan. They were blessed with forty-eight years of marriage, prior to her passing on August 25, 2010.

     Jack retired from General Motors in November 2003, after 40 years of service. He was an avid bass fisherman and sportsman. Jack enjoyed going camping and spending time with his granddaughter Lily. Goodbye dear husband, father, grandfather, and son.

     He is survived by son David Smalldon of St. Johns, MI; daughter Tammy (Garry, Jr.) Gooldy of Port St. Lucie, FL; two grandchildren: Garry III and Lily Ann Gooldy, one brother Harold Smalldon of St. Johns, MI. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, wife Joan, sister Fern Burgess and brother Edward Smalldon.
