Jackie Lee Sveda age 61 of Owosso, Michigan died Sunday, March 4, 2007 at his home.
In accordance with Jackie's wishes cremation has taken place, there will be no funeral services or visitation.
Jackie was born in Owosso, Michigan on October 14, 1945 the son of Fred G. and Zeda C. ( Harris ) Sveda. He resided most of his life in the Bancroft and Corunna areas and graduated from Corunna High School with the class of 1964. Jackie married Rachel Wilson on March 24, 2004 in Corunna, Michigan. He worked for GM. He enjoyed spending time with his dogs, gardening and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Rachel Wilson-Sveda of Owosso, MI, father Fred Sveda of Durand, MI, brother: Dick & Kay Sveda of Corunna, MI, 2 sisters Betty & Bob Sumner of Florida, Janet Sveda of Durand, MI, niece Kristen Sveda of Flint, MI, nephew Michael & Beth Sveda of North Carolina, and special cat Muffy. He is predeceased by his mother in 1999 and 1 brother Fred Sveda in 1970.
Memorials may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4005 or the Humane Society of Shiawassee County. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
