Jacqueline Huss

Jacqueline Luella Huss, age 75, of Ashley, Michigan passed away Thursday, June 17, 2010 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca Chapel Ithaca, MI on Monday, June 21, 2010 at 11:00 A.M., Mrs. Kathryn Strouse will officiate. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2010 6-8 P.M. and on Sunday, June 20, 2010 2-8 p.m. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca Chapel Ithaca, Michigan.

Jackie was born in Maple Rapids, Michigan on March 5, 1935, the daughter of Vernon T. and Ava A. (Fuller) Foss. On December 20, 1952 she married Francis " Jim " Huss in Bridgeville, Michigan. Jackie graduated from Ithaca High School Adult Education class in 1970. She was a retired bus driver from Fulton Schools after 18 years of service. Jackie enjoyed crocheting, making afghans, and enjoyed working at Buckley Old Engine Show every year. Camping and deer hunting was another thing she enjoyed. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge and Life member of the VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include husband Francis Huss Sr. of Ashley, MI, 5 sons; Francis "Frank" and Deb Huss Jr. of North Star, MI, Vernon Huss of Nashville, KS, Rodney Huss and Brenda Million of Ashley, MI, Douglas and Dora Huss I of North Star, MI, Harold Huss of Nashville, KS, 7 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, 2 brothers; Phillip and Vernon Foss, She was predeceased by her parents, 2 sisters & 1 brother.
