James Stewart

James Charles "Jim" Stewart, age 72, of Hubbardston, MI, passed away Monday, September 16, 2019, at his home surrounded by his family.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at the family's home at 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 19, 2019.

Jim was born in Lansing, Michigan on March 20, 1947, the son of Robert and Margaret (Jury) Stewart. Jim graduated from Dewitt High School with the class of 1965. He married Sue Rademacher on June 25, 1966 in Lansing, MI.

Jim was a farmer for 26 years and was also a shop supervisor for 10 years at American Bumper. Jim loved his kids, grandkids and stock car racing.

He is survived by his wife Sue Stewart; daughters: Lisa and Kirk Nichols, Carla and Wade Coleman, Dana and Tim Malek, Shannon Rasmussen, Jamie and Darrin Esch, and Bonnie Stewart; grandchildren: Dustin, Ashley (Zach), Jordan (Jessica), Kelsey (Tyler), Jacob, Brandon, Wyatt, Morgan (Kaleb), Keyanna (Austin), Cheyenne, Dane, Hayden, Alison (Isiaah), Chloe (Frank), great-grandchildren: Forrest, Elaine, Landon, Savannah, Nevaeh, Waylon, Aniya, with 3 more on the way.  He is also survived by his siblings: Ann and Rey Thelen, Douglas, and Brenda Stewart, Mary and Bill Rudy, Dale and Robin Stewart, Marcia and Mike Wilson, Phillip and Shelly Stewart, Perry and Sarah Stewart, and special friends: Matt Elliott, and Reza and Zahra Tavakoli. He was preceded in death by his parents.
