James A. "Jim" Feldpausch of Fowler, MI died Friday, October 4, 2013 at the age of 90. Born September 13, 1923 in Dallas Township, MI to Joseph and Regina (Wieber) Feldpausch. Jim lived in Fowler his entire life. He was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Farm Bureau, Catholic Order of Forresters, and volunteered with the Tri-County Office of Aging, Rave House, and Hazel I. Findlay Country Manor and led the Merry Makers Band. Jim farmed for 40 years and served as a milk tester for DHIA for 10 years. He married Agatha Rademacher on January 25, 1943 and she survives him.
Also surviving are his children; Cheryl (Frank) Rademacher of Stanton, MI, Clare (Bernadette) Feldpausch of Fowler, Dale (Mary Jane) Feldpausch of St. Johns, MI, Corinne (Bob) Sackrider of Holt, MI, Lucy (Luke) Witgen of Colleyville, TX, Kay (Mark) Fletcher of Muir, MI; 25 grandchildren; 61 great grandchildren; sister, SSJ Corinne Feldpausch; brother Roman Feldpausch; sister-in-law Joan (Gerald) Pohl; and many nieces and nephews. Jim was proceeded in death by his parents; sisters, Otillia Sohn and Julia Martin; brothers Sylvester, Leo, Harold and Louis Feldpausch.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fowler with Fr. Dennis Howard presiding. Burial will follow at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7-9 PM and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Goerge Chapel of the Osgood Funeral Home in Fowler. A rosary will be prayed at 3PM and a Scripture Service will be prayed at 8PM Monday. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made as per the wishes of the family.
