James L. Greene

     James L. Greene, age 80, of Elsie, MI, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Memorial Healthcare, Owosso, MI.
     A Memorial Service will be held at the Carland Global Methodist Church, Elsie, MI, on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 1:00 P.M with Pastor Loretta Smith officiating. A Luncheon will follow the services. Burial will take place at Fairfield Township Cemetery, Fairfield Township, MI.
      James was born in Ovid, Michigan on November 11, 1943, the son of James Edward and Catherine (Colby) Greene.
       Jim was a janitor at the Carland Methodist Church for many years. He was a member of the church and he also enjoyed helping with the rummage sales there. Jim liked cooking and spending time with his dog.
       He is survived by his brother Tom Greene of Des Plaines, IL; and his niece Nicole Greene of Des Plaines, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents.
