James Miller

James M. Miller, age 56, of Owosso, MI passed away Saturday, January 10th, 2009 at his residence.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church Owosso, MI on Wednesday, January 14th at 11 AM; Rev. Fr. John Fain will officiate. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Owosso, MI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 PM. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel. A Scripture Service will be held on 6 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

James was born in Owosso, Michigan on April 25, 1952, the son Donald H. and Mary (Hudek) Miller and resided all of his life in the Owosso area. He attended Special Education classes in the Owosso school system. He was a bagger at Meijer for 11 years before retiring. He also worked for the Argus Press and was member of the ARC of Shiawassee County. James was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Catholic Church Owosso, Michigan. He also enjoyed volunteering through the Community Integrated Program.

He is survived by his sister Patricia and Oliver Condra of Owosso, Michigan, niece Elizabeth and Justo Guzman of Harrison, Michigan, nephew David and Kim Condra of Owosso, Michigan, great-nephew Justo Charles Guzman of Harrison, Michigan, 2 great-nieces, Blair Elizabeth Guzman of Harrison, Michigan, Kyra Wallace of Owosso, Michigan, many nieces, nephews and cousins; also a special friend, Ed Urban. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Edward Miller.
