James Martin Schulze

     James Martin Schulze, age 47, of Maple Rapids, MI, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025, due to an automobile accident.
     A Memorial Service will be held at Maple Rapids Community Center, Maple Rapids, MI, on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Steven Lane officiating.
     James was born in Carson City, Michigan on April 30, 1977, the son of Dean and Sue (Geer) Schulze. He was a graduate of Fulton High School.
     James did many odd jobs for people in Maple Rapids, mowing, and raking yards. He loved to ride his bike and rode his bike all over with his mom. His pride and joy was spending time with his son, Layne and his great-niece and great-nephew, Keatyn and Zac. James was always willing to help and would tell his mom if she ever needed anything to just let him know. He enjoyed fishing. James was an avid Nascar fan and loved to watch races at the local tracks, he was also a big wrestling fan.
     He is survived by his parents Dean and Sue Schulze of Maple Rapids, MI; daughter Jessica Schulze; son Layne Schulze; sister Sissy Schulze and Shaun McCullough of St. Johns, MI; brother Chris Schulze of Elsie, MI; brother Brian and Jane Schulze of Fowler, MI; grandfather Thomas Geer of Ovid, MI. James is also survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, his great-niece and great-nephew. best friends: Kevin and Marcy Schmidt also Chris Holder and many other friends. James was preceded in death by his grandparents Donna and Earl Schulze also his grandmother Donna Geer and his sister-in-law Karen Schulze.
