James VanHorn Sr

James A. VanHorn Sr. age 70 of Ithaca, Michigan passed away at his home on Saturday, February 2, 2008.
A Memorial Church Service will be held on Friday, February 8, 2008 at 12:00 P.M. at M-46 Tabernacle Church in Riverdale, Michigan with a dinner following after the service.
James was born to Chris and Bernice (Webb) VanHorn on June 14, 1937. He married Lila Reed on June 14, 1956. James was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He had a small business where he made fishing tackle and custom fishing poles. James retired from Oxford Automotive (Lobdell-Emery) in Alma, MI, where he worked for 40 years.
He is survived by his four children; Wanda & Mark Johnson of Ithaca, MI, Carolyn & Duane Wolfgang of Remus, MI, Tina & William Maynard of Weidman, MI, James & Kimberly VanHorn Jr. of Ithaca, MI, grandchildren; Aaron, Jessica, Mark Jr., Cynthia, Edward, Jenny, Duane Jr., Christopher, Zachary, Nathan, 18 great grandchildren, ex-wife Lila VanHorn, brothers; Rodney, Kenneth and Darryl VanHorn, sisters; Patricia Billings, Phyllis Rauch, Priscilla Andrew, special friends Violet Dell, Troy & Kristy Wentz and their children Hailey & Dylan Wentz, Kurt Wentz Sr. and Kurt Wentz Jr., Karrie Davis and her children Meghan Johnson, and Cayden & Miyha Stewart. He was predeceased by his parents, and 1 brother Bob VanHorn.
