Jane Marie Carroll

      Jane Marie Carroll, age 62, of Perrinton, MI, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023, at her home.  
       A cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Fulton Township Hall, Cleveland Rd. Perrinton, MI.                            
        Jane was born in Ann Arbor, MI on April 18, 1961, the daughter of Lee E. and Jane M. (Lobdell) Smith. She married the love of her life Dennis Carroll on July 16, 2011, they had been together since 1983.      
         Jane lived most of her life in Gratiot County, where she was well known for her great cooking. She loved spending time with family and friends. She had a special love for her fur babies and her grand-daughter Kayleigh Lambert. She was very talented at crafting and making arrangements. She enjoyed all the years of traveling to the car shows in St. Ignace and mushroom hunting.                                She is survived by her daughter Jamey Smith of Florida, brothers: Steve Smith of Ithaca, Dick Smith of Leota, Randy Smith of Ithaca, Lee (Denise) Smith of Ithaca, and Denny (Debbie) Smith of Ithaca. She is also survived by sisters: Nellie (Smith) and Dick Sensabaugh of Perrinton, Debbie (Smith) and Mike Sherd of Sumner; granddaughter Kayleigh Lambert; many nieces and nephews; and brothers and sisters-in-laws. She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis Carroll; brothers: James and Donald Smith, and sister Judy Helms.
