Janet Loucks

Janet R. Loucks, age 72, died on February 9, 2014. She was born in Detroit on September 3, 1941, the daughter of Samuel and Ruth (Steiner) Little. Janet married Patrick Loucks on June 12, 1965 and he preceded her in death on May 19, 2011.

She is survived by her son, Christopher (Denise) Loucks of St. Johns, 7 grandchildren, Elizabeth (Zak) Hood, Nathan, Ryan, Samantha, Megan, Ethan and Justin Loucks, 3 great grandchildren, Jaysen, Evan and Derrick Hood, sister, Nancy (William) Schultz and many nieces and nephews. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, husband Patrick and son, John Loucks.

A Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 14, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Michael Williams presiding. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with a vigil service at 7 p.m., at the Osgood Funeral Home, 104 E. Cass St., St. Johns. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Janet's name to St. Joseph Catholic Church. The family is being served by the Osgood Funeral Homes.
