Jason Scott "Smiley Dell" Dell, age 37, of Pontiac, MI and formerly of Owosso passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at his home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Chesaning on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 11:00 AM, Rev. Father Rick Bokinskie will officiate. Interment will take place at Flint Memorial Park Flint, MI Friday at 3:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2008 from 2-8 PM with family present 2-4 & 6-8 PM. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso. Visitation will also be held on Friday, October 10, 2008 from 10-11 AM. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
Jason was born in Flint, Michigan on July 13, 1971, the son of Charles and Beverley (Gray) Dell. He graduated from Owosso High School and attended computer technician training courses. Jason resided most of his life in Owosso. He worked as a Computer Technician at CTS of Pontiac. He enjoyed sports, especially football. Spending time and fishing with his children was very important to him. Watching movies, computer games and music on the computer were favored pastimes. Collecting Green Bay Packers memorabilia was important to him and his boys, especially Bret Favre items. His took his daughter to school every morning and this was his time with Daddy's Girl, "Maddie Lou".
Jason is survived by his parents, Charles and Beverley Dell of Owosso, MI, 2 sons; Chuck Dell of Durand, MI, and Josh Dell of Durand, MI, a daughter Madison Dell of Pontiac, MI, and her mother Barbara Garcia of Pontiac, MI, brother Bob and Margo Dell of Flint, MI, sister Tamie and Kirk Willson of Chesaning, MI, brother Delbert and Tonya Dell of Petoskey, MI, sister Ella and Mike McLain of Mississippi, sister Mary and Gary Bunch of Fenton, MI, and sister Kris and Derek Klima of Clarkston, MI. He is also survived by many, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Charles Dell and his grandparents.
