Jean Howard

Jean R. Howard, age 75, of Owosso, MI died Monday, September 8, 2008 at his home with his family by his side.

In accordance to Jean's wishes there will be no services at this time.

Jean was born in Corunna, Michigan on January 1, 1933, the son of Clifford and Felice (Silsby) Howard. He graduated from Corunna High School and resided most of his life in Owosso and California. Jean served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He worked for Olin Kraft and later for Jefferson Smurf. Jean enjoyed watching all types of sports. Feeding birds and wildlife were very important to him.

He is survived by his mother Felice Leser of Hawaii, his loving companion Mary Howard of Owosso, MI who loved and cared for him, three daughters; Judy Cline of Parrish, FL, Jeanne and Ace Jernstadt of Maple Rapids, MI, Gayla and Steve Hann of Henderson, MI, three sons; Richard and Patti Howard of Owosso, MI, Larry and Kerry Howard of Owosso, MI, Terry and Dory Howard of Hawaii, and his half brother Charles and Shelly Nalepa of Hawaii. He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren and 11 Great-grandchildren. He was prececeased by his father, first wife Betty Howard and second wife, Etta Howard.
