Jean Sellers, age 78 of Owosso, Michigan passed away Thursday, December 4, 2003 at Memorial Healthcare Center in Owosso. She was a loving wife and devoted mother. She was also a secretary for Corunna Public Schools.
Memorial services will be held Monday, December 8, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Paula�(TM)s Episcopal Church in Corunna, Michigan. Rev. Fr. William Boli will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-4 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
Jean was born on July 25, 1925 in Owosso, Michigan, the daughter of Charles and Sulta (Cushman) Thomas. She graduated from Owosso High School with the class of 1943. On October 26, 1946 she married Clem Sellers in Owosso, Michigan. They were married for 57 years. She was a member of St. Paula�(TM)s Episcopal Church for over 50 years. She sang in the choir and was an active member of the Junior Womena�(TM)s Club and Church Vestry. She resided most of her life in the Corunna and Owosso area.
She is survived by her husband, Clem Sellers of Owosso, MI, 2 sons, Al Sellers of Chicago, IL, Tom Sellers & Barbara Gewirtz of Chesaning, MI, 2 daughters, Pat (Paul) Spaniola of Ludington, MI, and Connie (Mark) Neds of Phoenix, AZ, a grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 1, and 3 brothers, Jim (Blenna) Thomas of Tyler, TX, Charles (Marilyn) Thomas of Owosso, MI, and Don (Lynda) Thomas of Midland, MI. She was predeceased by her parents, and a twin sister, Janice Thomas. Memorials may be made to St. Paula�(TM)s Episcopal Church or the Grace Mallery Fund. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
