Jeanetha Lee (Stewart) Gulick

       Jeanetha Lee Gulick, age 86, of Merrill, MI, peacefully passed away after a short illness on Monday, November 28, 2022, at Ascension St. Mary's Hospital, Saginaw, MI.

     Jeanetha was born in Flint, Michigan on July 15, 1936, the daughter of Eugene and Ruby M. (Chase) Stewart. She graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1954.   In 1953, Jeanetha married Norman Gulick and together they had four children: Penny, Patricia, David, and Jeffery.

     In retirement at age 84, Jeanetha spent her final years on the farm where she had raised her family. She enjoyed gardening, reading books, and caring for and loving her family.

    She is survived by her children: Penny (Perry) Sherwood of Highland, MI; Patricia (Joseph) Austin of Naubinway, MI; and David (Lia) Gulick of Wheeler, MI; daughter-in-law Denise Gulick of Merrill, MI. She is also survived by ten grandchildren: Jessica (Daniel) Palmer, Melissa (Chad) Flanagan, Maureen (Holly) Morgan, Kelli (Nathaniel) Clarkson, Jamie (Seth) Randall, Jodie (Ryan) Ellis, Jacob Gulick, Cody Gulick, Joshua (Molly) Gulick, and Nathan (Lauren) Gulick; seventeen great- grandchildren, one brother Edward Gould, sister Rose (Dale) Cooper, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Ruby (Daniel) Gould, father Eugene Stewart, son Jeff Gulick, and twin sister Jeannine (Jim) McLean.

     In following her wishes, a cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date and burial will be at Lafayette Township Cemetery, Lafayette Township, MI.
