Jeanne Adams

Jeanne Marie Adams age 89 of Owosso, Michigan died Saturday, February 16, 2008 at Shiawassee County Medical Care Facility, Corunna.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel Coruna, on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Tim Hadley will officiate with burial at West Haven Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2008 from 6-8 P.M. and Monday, February 18, 2008 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.
Jeanne was born in Owosso, Michigan on October 8, 1918 the daughter of Robert & Jessie (Frantz) Alliton and she resided most of her life the Owosso area. She attended and graduated from Corunna High School with the class of 1936. Jeanne married Harold H. Adams on October 9, 1938 in Owosso, and she worked at Redmonds during WWII and then at Bendix Canning Factory. She was a wonderful mother and wife and took care of many of the children in the neighborhood along with her own. Jeanne enjoyed going to Alaska and took many trips there, on 16 of those trips they drove. She canned thousand of jars of her garden vegetables and liked to have her 3 meals a day. Jeanne never had a bad word to say about anyone and always tried to keep a positive outlook on things. Jeanne was a member of Corunna Christian Assembly.
She is survived by her children, Nancy & Jim Bell of Alaska, Thomas & Priscilla Adams of Corunna, Merilee & Tim Lawson of Corunna, Marilyn & Lew Owen of Owosso, Ilene & Mark Stead of Owosso, grandchildren, Joshua, Jeremy, Ranne´, Jennifer, Rachel, Lisa, Jason, Adam, Rebecca, Jesse, Adrianna, Riley, and Kammi , great grandchildren, Tyler & Edan, daughter-in-law, Naomi Adams. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Harold, 2 sons, Lynn Adams and Robert Adams, & 1 brother Ross Alliton.
Memorials may be made to Corunna Christian Assembly or to the Living Waters Bible Camp. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna, Michigan.
