Jeannie (Seavey)Simon

Jeannie Elizabeth (Seavey) Simon, passed away on August 29, 2012 at the age of 54. Born July 25, 1958 in Muskegon, Michigan, she was the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Sullivan) Seavey.

Jeannie is survived by her children, Ryan Simon, Mary Simon and Laura Simon, all of Stanton, Michigan. She's also survived by her siblings, Tom (Suzie) Seavey, Joe Seavey, Stan (Janette) Seavey, Leo (Kathie) Seavey, Erin (Jeff) Penney, and her nieces and nephews, Erin, Katie, Julie, Anne, Joe, Tom, Jacob, Emily, Stan II., Tim, Sarah, Jessica, John, Leo, Margaret, Sean, Maddie and Seamus. Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John Sullivan Seavey.

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Johns, with Fr. Michael Williams presiding. Burial will follow the mass at Mt. Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with a vigil service at 7 p.m. at the Osgood Funeral Home in St. Johns.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Alcoholics Anonymous. The family is being served by the Osgood Funeral Homes.
