Jeffrey Kildea

Jeffrey Lynn Kildea, age 53, of Owosso, MI passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Corunna Chapel Corunna, MI on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. Chaplain Beverly Adcock will officiate. Burial will follow at Pine Tree Cemetery, Corunna, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday July 22, 2010 from 2-8 PM with family present 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home.

Jeffrey was born in Owosso, Michigan on June 11, 1957, the son of David and Carolyn (Beamish) Kildea. Jeffrey lived most of his life in Corunna and was a graduate of Corunna High School class of 1975. Jeffrey married Theresa Czarney on March 31, 1999 in Corunna, MI.

Jeff worked for the General Motors Buick Plant in Flint as a Millwright for 33 years. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing and everything outside. Jeff raced go-karts with his son Karl at the new Owosso Kart Speedway and at Arthur Speedway in Reese, MI. But most important to him was his two boys.

Jeff is survived by his wife Theresa Kildea of Owosso, MI, sons; Jeff Kildea of Ovid, MI and Karl Kildea of Owosso, MI, grandchildren; Matthew and Teaghan Kildea, parents David and Carolyn Kildea of Corunna, MI, parents-in-law James and Charlotte Czarney of Swartz Creek, MI, brother Timothy and Cindy Kildea of Owosso, MI, sister Vicki and Dennis Schaffer of Troy, OH, sister Julie Kildea of Owosso, MI, brother Steven and Dawn Kildea of Holly, MI. Jeff is also survived by many nieces, nephews, special sister Antonette Czarney and his dog Sam who was a direct decendent of his best friend, Rowdy. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
