Jeramy Ramirez

Jeramy L. Ramirez, age 38, of Ovid, MI passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie, MI, on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Audie Clairmont officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 6, 2014 from 2-8, with the family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Jeramy was born in Alma, MI on June 7, 1975. He married Amy L. Kristin on July 15, 2006 in Ovid, MI. Jeramy formerly worked at Maurell Products in Owosso and Barnard Manufacturing in St. Johns. He loved everything University of Michigan. Jeramy loved spending time with family riding his quad and snowmobiling. He helped coach his son's youth football team.

He is survived by his wife Amy Ramirez of Ovid, MI, sons; Gavin, Jacob and Nathaniel, father John Ramirez of Harrison, MI, grandfather Ronald Moore of Vestaburg, MI, brother John Ramirez and Jenn Bourcier of Harrison, MI, brother-in-law Kevin and Mary Beach of Ovid, MI, sister-in-law Tina and Phil Lewin of England, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jeramy was preceded in death by his grandmother Geraldine Moore, grandparents Alex and Antonia Ramirez, parents in law Russell and Patricia Little, uncles; Erasmo Castillo and Alex Ramirez and cousin Frank Castillo.
