Jessie Silver Wells age 77 of Alma, Michigan died Friday, March 4, 2005 at Schnepp Heath Care Center in St. Louis, Michigan.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 7, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes in St. Louis, MI. Pastor Dave Jewell will officiate with burial at Riverside Cemetery, Alma, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Sunday 5-8 P.M.
Jessie was born on April 23, 1927 in Sumner, Michigan the daughter of Charles Leonard & Pearl (Dougherty) Strine. She was a resident of Alma, Michigan.
Jessie had worked for Wolverine World Wide Shoes in Ithaca, Michigan. She loved flower gardening, animals, and watching birds. She was a member of St. Louis Free Methodist Church.
She is survived by her six children, Shirley Wiser of Sheridan, MI, Rex Wells of Michigan, Ed Wells of Wyandotte, MI, Linda Torres of Lansing, Michigan, Ernie Wells of Florida, Jeanette & Harold Green of Elsie, Michigan. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, and her siblings.
