Jimmy Dean Kato, age 37, of St. Louis, Michigan passed away Monday, November 29, 2010 at Gratiot Medical Center, Alma, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis Chapel St. Louis, MI on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 11:00 A.M., Mr. Keith Wise will officiate. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2010 from 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.

Jimmy was born in Orlando, Florida on October 5, 1973, the son of Fred Davis and Brenda (Johnson) Baker. He graduated from St. Louis High School with the class of 1993. Jimmy had worked for local contractors in the area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, wrestling and football.

He is survived by his mother, Brenda Baker of St. Louis, MI, daughter Ashlynn Kato, son Alexander Folsom, 1 sister Shaila and Michael Borie of St. Louis, MI, 3 brothers; Kenny and Jodi Baker of St. Louis, MI, Chris and Karrie Johnson of Ithaca, MI, Brian Davis, St. Louis, MI, and 18 nieces & nephews.
