Joan Becker

Joan M. Becker passed away July 16, 2015. She was born in Fowler on July 7, 1928, the daughter of Martin and Matilda (Thelen) Fox. Joan was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She married Luke E. Becker on November 26, 1946 and he preceded her in death.

Surviving are her children; Julia Becker of Portland, OR, Beth (Ronn) Thelen of Fowler, Yvonne (Francis) Perry of Nashville, TN, Guy Becker of Lansing, Gary (Judy) Becker of Pewamo, Mark (Laurie) Becker of Fowler and Robert (Sally) Becker of Fowler; 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; brother, Dennis (Millie) Fox; brother-in-law, Clark (Sharon) Becker; sister-in-law, Elaine Fox and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Joan was preceded in death by grandchildren Brooke Becker and Gavin Becker; sister, Grace Kaulfuss; brother, Gerald Fox and father-in-law and mother-in-law Frank and Eva Becker.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am Monday, July 20, 2015 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fowler with Fr. Dennis Howard presiding. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 18 from 6-9pm with a Rosary at 6pm and Sunday, July 19 from 2-4pm and 6-9pm with a Rosary at 2pm and Vigil Service at 6pm at the Goerge Chapel of Osgood Funeral Homes in Fowler. Memorial contributions may be made to the Most Holy Trinity Education Trust Fund.
