Joan Ruth Dean age 57 of Belleville, Michigan died Monday, December 19, 2005 at her home.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns Chapel on Friday, December 23, 2005 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Sharon Janot will officiate with burial at South Bingham Township Cemetery St. Johns, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2005 from 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.
Joan was born in Lima, Ohio on March 19, 1948 the daughter of John and Eva Lucille ( Wilson ) Dean. She lived in Belleville for the Past 20 years. Joan graduated from Lapeer High School with the class of 1966. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from M.S.U., Master's Degree in Madison Wisconsin and her Certified Nurse Anesthetist in Parkersburg, West Virginia. She worked at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, Michigan as the Director of Perioperative Services. She enjoyed her horses, and sports, ecspecially the Redwings and football. She also enjoyed antiquing, and buying and selling on e-bay. She was also a member of A.N.N.A.
She is survived by her parents John & Lucille Dean of Owosso, MI, 1 sister Betty & Tom Barks of Dewitt, MI, brother David & Beth Dean of Owosso, MI, Nancy Montague of Bellville, MI, Tony & Rhonda Montague & children, Doris Montague, many nieces & nephews and her employees where she worked.
