Joan Olger

Joan Marie Olger age 84, of Ovid, MI, passed from this life to heaven early Sunday morning November 26, 2017.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Osgood Chapel, St. Johns, MI, on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 1:00 P.M.  Visitation will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. and Saturday from 12:00 until the time of service at the funeral home.

Joan was born in Lansing, MI on February 5, 1933, the daughter of Arthur and Edna (White) Burley.  She resided most of her life in Ovid.  Joan was a longtime employee of American Bank and Trust (PNC) in Lansing, MI.  She loved to visit with others.

She is survived by her daughter Linda and Richard Andrew, son Westley and Doreen Olger, sisters; Patricia Mott, Cathleen and Richard Davis, and Irma Badgero, step-sister Fluvanna Koslawski, step-brothers; Robert "Toby" and Shirley Aldrich, and Guy and Juanna Aldrich.  Joan is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends all loved and enjoyed by Joan.  She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother Alice Burley, and 2 brothers-in-law; Ivan Mott and Warren Badgero.
